Fly Ash Brick

In INDIA more than 460 Coal Based Thermal Power Stations are providing Electricity thus generating more than 135 Million Tonne Fly Ash per Year. Pulverized fuel ash commonly known as fly ash is a useful by-product and has considerable pozzolonic (Binding) properties. This national resource material has been gainfully utilized for manufactureof Fly Ash Bricks and Blocks as a supplement to common burnt clay building bricks leading to conservationof precious natural resources, improvement in environmental quality and providing Ecological balance. pollutant "Fly Ash" has successfully positioned itself as a Resource Material through manufacture and processing of Fly Ash Based products by:

1 . Employmentgeneration & Skill development for more than 5 Million countrymen

2 . Conservation of 65 Million Tonne very harmful Carbon Dioxide i.e. CO2 Emissions

3 . Saving on 100 Million Tonne Coal

4 . More than 40 Million Tonne Lime

5 . More than 40 Million Tonne Precious Fertile Top Soil

But despite of the efforts of Ministry of Environment & Forests (MOE&F) vide its Extra Ordinary Notifications in the year 2002 and 2008, still more than 95million Tonne Fly Ash is Unused and stands as untapped infrastructure development material manufacture opportunities. State of Art processing technologies and use of Lime & Gypsum along with Fly ash leads to a Superior, Sustainable and Stabilized building Component in the form of "Fly Ash Bricks & Blocks".

Eco Friendly Fly ash Bricks & Blocks are extensively used and hence has replaced Red Clay bricks as the most favored Green Material for Infrastructure Building Industry in the following sectors:

1 . Large scale as well as Individual Housing Development

2 . Commercial Building developments

3 . Educational Institutions

4 . Central & State Government Developmental projects
